A rainy day is a good day at Hase Yochien! The action simply shifts inside, and the creativity flows in fun, sometimes unexpected, directions. Hasekko take an idea and run with it, developing and implementing plans with their classmates and sometimes on their own! The processes are organic and evolve as their ideas take shape. Excitement mounts as the children put their ideas into physical form and see each other's contributions to the class project. 長谷幼稚園では雨の日だって楽しい！遊びは室内になります。想像力は楽しく、 ときに予想していなかった方向へと進みます。はせっこは友達と一緒に、ときに は自分ひとりで計画を立て実行しながら、アイディアを出して進めていきます！ 一連の作業は緩やかに自然で、アイディアが形になるにつれて発展していきま す。子ども達がアイディアを形にしていき、もの作りをしているお互いの姿を見 ているうちに、ワクワクした気持ちが高まっていきます。 LET THE DAY BEGIN 一日が始まるよ This day began, as every day at Hase Yochien does, with each child switching outside shoes for uwabaki (special yochien indoor shoes), consulting the class calendar to stamp their attendance card and then talking and playing original games with friends or looking around at their environment to see what they can create or do. Today as the day commenced, there were recycled boxes out in the classroom for the kids to explore. いつもの長谷幼稚園のように、今日も一日が始まりました。子どもたちは靴を上 履きに履き替えて、部屋にあるカレンダーを見て出席カードのスタンプカードに スタンプを押していきます。そして友達と話しをしたり、自分たちが作ったゲー ムをしたり、何を作ろうかなあ～何ができるかな～とまわりを見渡します。今日 は子ども達が何かを作れるように部屋に箱がありました。 MORNING CIRCLE 朝の集まり Classmates gradually began to move benches into a circle for their morning ritual. Their class leader helped them settle with a quick seat switching game and then they calmed into bidding Nonno-Sama good morning together. 子どもたちは朝の集まりのためにイスを丸く並べ始めました。保育者は子ども達 が素早く席に着けるようにゲームを始めました。そして、子ども達は、のの様に 朝の挨拶をするために静かになりました。 Storytime followed. Both books were class favorites! Storytime is both quiet and interactive for Hasekko. 続いて絵本の時間です。子どもたちのお気に入りの絵本です！絵本の時間は、は せっこにとって静かで対話的な時間です。 CRAFT TIME もの作りの時間 Although the rain slowed to a drizzle and the sun began to peak out from behind the clouds, stretching its bright rays into the classroom, the children were so engaged in the activity to come that they were not distracted. They quickly worked together to put away the morning circle benches and gathered on the floor to hear the project idea and tool safety instructions. For the red year children, this was their first experience at Hase with cardboard saws and scissors. 雨は小雨になってきて、雲の向こうから太陽が出てきました。部屋に眩しい光が 差し込み始めましたが、子どもたちはこれからする遊びに夢中で気にしていませ ん。みんなですぐに丸くなったイスを片付けて、これからすることのアイディア と安全に道具を使う方法を聞くために床に集まりました。あかの子にとって、長 谷幼稚園で段ボールのこぎりとハサミを使うのは初めての経験です。 LET'S BUILD OUR CLASS HOUSE! 自分たちの家を作ろう！ Everyone chose from the assorted boxes, crates, fabrics and other recycled materials to begin their project. Talking, putting themselves into the space and observing their friends from outside helped to form their ideas. 子どもたちは、家をつくるために、さまざまに取り揃えられた箱、布やリサイク ル材料から使いたいものを選びます。話しをしたり、そっと立ち止まったり、友 達が何をしているのか観察することで、自分たちのアイディアが形になっていき ました。 Before long, crayons, the cardboard box cutters, scissors and materials came together in the children's hands. Their class leader floated from child to child listening to their ideas and supporting their work. やがて、子どもたちはクレヨン、段ボールのこぎり、ハサミや材料を手に持ち始 めました。保育者は子どもたちのアイディアを聞き、子どもたちの作業をサポー トしながら、子どもたちの間を回ります。 FINAL CONSULTATIONS 完成に向けての話し合い The children talked with each other about the finishing touches on their class house. In the end, the class project included a living room and an outdoor bath. The living room had a refrigerator on the roof, beautiful lacy curtains over a wide window and a small heart and rainbow side window, with plenty of decoration inside the room. Their garden tub had a shower and a light for evening baths. It was decorated in blue and pretty flowers! 子どもたちは家作りの最後の仕上げについて話し合いました。ついにリビング ルームと外用のお風呂を作ることにしました。屋上に冷蔵庫があり、キレイな レースのカーテンが大きな窓に付いているリビングルームです。部屋の中にはた くさんの飾りがあり、ハートと虹の側面の窓が付いています。外のお風呂には シャワーが付いていて、夜にも入浴ができるように電灯も付いています。青色と キレイな花で飾りました！
