Digging a small pond creates a space for the kids to experience a thinner, inviting version of the mud to compare with the thick mud they often make themselves for play cooking. Let's jump in!

The Hasekko spirit of cooperation is evident as the first class works together to set up the painted glue tables for today's activity. They start with the sawhorses, and later place the play tables on top themselves!

Hasekko delight in the warmth and sticky texture of the freshly mixed glue. Some aren't so sure about touching it, so they watch their friends in the beginning before trying their own hands in the white mixture.
