Three children from each class bring the smock storage boxes to the terrace. Then, everyone dons their smock before joining their class outside to receive their paintbrushes and await their teacher’s instructions. After that, the watercolor adventures begin.
スモッグの入った箱をテラスに出し、スモッグを着てみんなで外に出ます。
保育者の話を聞いて、ブラシを持って、さぁ絵の具を使って冒険しよう!
Classmates sit in a group and explore the feeling of the paintbrushes with their fingers, talking together as they wait.
一緒に座っておしゃべりしたり、ブラシの手触りを調べたりしながら、
始まるのを待っています。
Each child becomes engrossed in his or her painting, focusing only on the creation in progress. Some seem to choose colors very carefully for their designs, while others concentrate on their brush strokes
みんなそれぞれ、描くことに没頭して、できつつある作品に集中しています。
色を注意深く選んでいる子もいれば、ひたすらブラシを動かすことに熱中している子も。
Friends join together to collaborate at various project stations. Playfully lifting the “house” roof at an angle, red and yellow year (1st and 3rd year) students can simultaneously paint a design together. A short distance away in each direction, children gather around a paper-wrapped tree and beside a makeshift paint table to create their collaborative masterpieces.
いろいろな場所で、友だちといっしょに描く姿が見られました。
楽しそうにハウスの屋根を持ち上げて、あかの子ときいろの子がいっしょに塗っています。
すぐそばでは、テーブルの上や紙の巻かれた木に、共同傑作ができつつありますよ。
Various media provide different painting experiences. The children experiment brushing watercolor onto paper, wood, cardboard and metal screens. Giggling at the different appearance of the paint on the metal screen before her, this girl talks with her teacher as she paints.
いろいろな場所で、いろいろな色塗り冒険ができるね。
紙、木、段ボールに網戸、はせっこたちはいろいろなところを塗る実験中。
網戸の上っておもしろいね、笑いながら保育者に伝えます。
5月19日(木) Playing with Texture 触って感じて遊ぼう
Two classes played with a handmade glue mixture and paint today. Again donning their smocks for a day of play, they enjoyed the sticky, cool sensation of the glue on their hands before working the paint into the glue with their fingers. The other classes enjoyed a walk through the temple gardens with their friends.
2クラスが長谷幼稚園特製のべとべとのりで遊びました。今日もスモッグを着て、まず、手でべたべたの感触やひんやりした感触を楽しみます。それから色を入れて手でまぜてみます。
お寺の庭に散歩に出かけたクラスもありました。
At first, some children were tentative in touching the basic flour and water glue mixture. However, seeing their friends enjoy the texture, they soon warmed to the idea and concerned faces brightened into wide grins.
初めは、ためらいがちにべとべとのりに触っている子もいました。
でも、友だちがその感触を楽しんでいるのを見たら、
すぐに不安も吹き飛んで顔も輝いてきましたよ。
Color added an additional element of fun to the experience. Teachers poured red and green watercolor into the glue, and the adventure took a turn toward color exploration. Students blended the colors thoroughly into the glue with their hands and fingers, and then went a step further blending the colors together. However, the biggest joy for red through yellow (1st through 3rd) years alike seemed to be bright red hands!
色を加えることで、さらに広がるべとべとのりの世界。
保育者が赤と緑の絵の具をのりに加えると、今度は色を楽しむ冒険へと広がります。
子どもたちは、色を手のひらや指先を使ってのりにまぜ合わせて、
さらに2つの色をまぜてみます。
でも、あかの子からきいろの子まで、みんなが一番喜んだのは、
手がまっかっかになったこと!
