9月20日（火） Remembering Beloved Sea Creatures and Pets きいろの子 慰霊祭へ
Carrying flower bouquets gathered by hand, Kiironoko (third-year-kinder kids) attended the memorial service held to remember sea creatures and pets at Enoshima Aquarium on Tuesday. Peacock Kuko, crawfish and tadpoles which passed away at Hase Youchien this year were mentioned in the prayer service. The children laid their flowers from home together in an act of remembrance, quieting their minds and praying alongside each other for the animals.
新江ノ島水族館の「水の生きものとペットの慰霊祭」にきいろの子が参列しました。
法要の中で、長谷幼稚園で今年亡くなったクジャクのクー子、ザリガニ、オタマジャクシを言って頂き、子ども達は静かな気持ちで、持ってきたお花を供え、お参りをしました。
9月22日(金) Creative BEing: the Building Blocks of a Creative Life クリエイティブであること〜クリエイティブな生活を積み重ねていくこと
Haseko develop their creative spirits within the simultaneous structures of freedom and routine inherent in everyday yochien activity. On this average day in the second term, the morning routine has become standard after a full semester of practice and quietly fades into the background as the creative process blossoms everywhere. Many kids quickly finish their attendance card stamping and stowing of personal belongings, also returning borrowed books and clothing to their correct locations to make space for their thoughts and ideas to take physical shape. The pulse of creativity fills the air as the kids jump into their day, some quite literally!
幼稚園生活での、毎日の決まった活動と自由な活動との絶妙なバランスの中で、はせっこたちは創造性を育んでいます。２学期のあるごく普通の日、１学期を経て朝のしたくが身に付き、みんな当たり前のようににできるようになりました。と同時に、今度はあちこちでクリエイティブな活動が花開いていきます。多くの子がさっと出席カードにスタンプを押して、持ち物をしまい、借りた絵本を返して、そして思いやアイデアを形にするためにふさわしい格好に着替えます。子どもたちがその一日に向かって飛び出す時、まさに彼らの創造性があふれ出していきます。
Quietly Thinking... Together! 静かに考える...時には一緒に！
Many Haseko begin with quieter activities, like perusing books in the library or employing scissors, crayons, glue and recycled materials to express their thoughts or feelings.
絵本のへやで絵本を見たり、ハサミやクレヨンやのり、そして廃材の箱や紙を使って思いを表現したりと、まずは静かな活動から始めている子が多くいます。
Tactile Creation さわって、触れて作る
Some Haseko prefer to pump water, gather garden tools, dig and create with sand.
水をくみ出したり、しゃべるなどを使って土を掘ったり土で何かを作ったりするのが好きな子もいます。
Body Expression 体で表現
Other Haseko jump right into physical activity in the garden, expressing the boundless energy inside them through swinging and climbing on the equipment outside.
園庭へと、身体を使った活動に飛び出して行く子たちもいます。外の遊具に登ったりぶら下がったりして、無限のエネルギーを見せてくれます。
After warming up their creative muscles, they are ready to pull it all together. Leaders emerge, Haseko express ideas and teams form to use the tools of the day- wood, hammers and nails- to give shape to their plans.
創造性が高まってきて、今度はみんなで一緒にクリエイティブな活動をする準備が整いました。自然にリーダーたちが現れて、はせっこたちはアイデアを出し合い、そしてグループができます。今日の道具たち〜木、トンカチ、くぎを使って、どうやって思いを形にしていこうか？
Thematic Development テーマが展開
The inspiration for this objet d'art is the moon. There is a Hase Yochien class of the same name, and the children recently celebrated Tsukimi, the moon viewing festival, together at yochien. 月からひらめいて、この芸術作品が出来上がっていきます。クラスの名前にもつき組があるし、先日、子どもたちは幼稚園でお月見の行事を行いました。
Fun in Teamwork チームワークは楽しい
"Building with tools together is fun!" Sometimes after an idea is hatched, developed and construction begun, more materials are needed. Together with a teacher, Haseko plan their structure, then select and carry another piece of wood to their worksite.
材料をくっつけて積み上げていくのって楽しい！アイデアが思いついた後もさらに思いが広がって、もっと材料が必要になるときもあります。はせっこたちは保育者と一緒に構想を練ったら、今度はそれにふさわしい木材を選んで運んできます。
The building blocks of a creative life come together in the balances- freedom and responsibility, personal initiative and teamwork, silence and speech. Haseko internalize these dichotomies in their play while attending yochien and in the process begin to hone their creative life journeys.
クリエイティブな生活は、いろいろなバランス〜自由と責任、個々での取り組みとチームワーク、沈黙と発言とのバランスの中で形作られ積み上げられていきます。はせっこたちは幼稚園での遊びの中で、そういったバランスを身につけて、そしてさらにクリエイティブな生活へと歩みを進めて行きます。
