Time spent being with good friends, especially in the everyday rituals of our lives, transform ordinary moments into the memories we cherish.
仲良しの友達と過ごす時間〜よくある日常の時間〜が、かけがえのない思い出になるんです。 Lunch Time! The morning melted into afternoon in an ordinary way, through the ritual of eating lunch together. お弁当の時間！ お弁当を食べながら時間は午前から午後になります。 　　 While most of their classmates retrieved their lunches from their classroom lockers, those blue and yellow year students on tea duty for the day fetched their class's kettle from the table near the office kitchen. Every day, lunch begins with the fetching of the tea kettle and lunch bags. For those in classrooms on the second floor, that means carrying the tea kettle up the stairs to their classroom before serving tea to their patiently waiting classmates. Serving tea is a milestone on the path to growing up at Hase Yochien, eagerly looked forward to by the red year students in their first year at preschool. みんながお弁当をロッカーから取り出しているとき、 お茶当番のきいろの子は台所近くのテーブルから、やかんをとってきます。 お昼の時間は、お茶のやかんとお弁当を準備することから始まります。 部屋が2階の子は、やかんを持ちながら階段を登り、 お茶はまだかなーと待っている友達のところまで運びます。 長谷幼稚園では、お茶が運べるようになるのが成長の証。 あかの子はいつか自分たちもお茶を運べるようになるのを楽しみにしています。 Let's eat! "いただきます!" 　　 Children eagerly opened their lunchboxes and savored the delicious meal their moms packed for them. Classes eat lunch together four days a week. 子どもたちはワクワクしながら、お弁当箱を開けて、おいしそうに食べます。 週に4回、お弁当を一緒に食べています。 　　 　　　　 While eating, some children shared animated stories and thoughts with their friends. Lunchtime is special for each child- a time to excitedly talk with friends, share quiet eating routines together, and sometimes eat and clean-up afterward while wrapped warmly in the cocoon of their own thoughts. 楽しくおしゃべりをしながら、お弁当を食べます。 お弁当の時間は子どもたちにとって大切な時間。 友達と楽しく話したり、穏やかに食事を楽しんだり、食後に片付けをしたり。 そしてみんなの心の中に大切に残ります。 　　　　 After lunch, it was time to clean their teeth! Hase kids make brushing fun. They prepare and rinse their toothbrushes and cups at the sink in each classroom, enjoying the cool splash of water. Brushing their teeth can happen wherever they feel comfortable. Together, these boys choose to brush their teeth out on the front porch! お弁当の後は歯磨き！はせっこは歯磨きだって楽しんじゃいます。 水しぶきを楽しみながら歯ブラシとコップを部屋の水道で洗って準備します。 子どもたちは自分の好きな場所で歯磨きをします。この子たちは部屋の前で歯磨き！ PLAYTIME! Let the hunt begin... 遊ぶぞ！楽しいことが始まるよ Then it was out to the garden to run, climb and play together. While some children spent their time climbing trees and playground equipment, one class leader set off with other children on an adventure through the elaborate structure which they made earlier in the week. The children's plan was to search for edible treasures to give to the birds who would come visit the birdhouse which they made and hung on the front porch! Children searched for leaves and berries to tempt their bird friends. Creating play structures, toys, narratives and games is a way of life at Hase Yochien. Children are creative and enjoy moving a design from their thoughts into the physical world using recycled materials. 園庭に向かって走り出し遊び始めました。 木登りや遊具で遊んでいる子どもたちがいる中、 ほかの子たちは自分たちが先日作った世界の中で冒険を楽しんでいます。 自分たちで作って部屋の入り口につけた「とりの巣」に遊びにきてくれる鳥のためにエサ探し。 鳥に喜んでもらえるよう葉っぱや木の実を探しました。 子どもたちで遊びや、おもちゃ、お話し、ゲームを作りだすのが、はせっこスタイル。 子どもたちは想像力が豊かです。 いろいろなものをリサイクルしながら、自分たちの思いを形にしていきます。 Parts of the playspace crafted by the children's hands from cardboard boxes required great care, and everyone was careful to remove their shoes while walking on the cardboard runway supported by a wooden frame. ダンボール箱で作った場所には優しく乗らないとね。 木で支えられたダンボール製の道を靴を脱いでゆっくり歩きます。 The hidden rooms were great fun! Shoes remained on in those areas, which was especially helpful for a quick escape when the doors swung open to reveal the hiding children. 隠れ家は楽しい！ ドアが開いて隠れていた子をみつけてすぐに逃げれるように 隠れ家の中では靴をはいたまま。 　　 The adventurous search for bird treats continues through the box maze. Look!!! We found food for our bird friend amongst the trees in the garden. ダンボール迷路の中でも、鳥のエサを探しています。 みて！！！園庭の木の間にエサをみつけたよ。 No meal is complete without water. We're lucky to have our very own water pump! Now, how do we keep the bird's house from dripping? 料理に水は欠かせません。 幼稚園に井戸水があってよかった！ 「とりの巣」が落ちないようにするにはどうすればいいかなあ？
